Somers Fire District Board Meeting
Once monthly, every second Tuesday at 6:00 PM
Somers Fire-District Board meetings are open to the public, and take place once every month at Somers Fire-Hall.
Department Training
Tuesdays at 7:00 PM
Every Tuesday we get together to hone our skills, answer questions, get updates on fire-related news from the department and county, and connect with our fellow fire-fighters. Training takes place typically at Somers Fire-Hall (784 Somers Road, in Somers), but occasionally rotates to Lakeside (125 Bill's Road, Lakeside, across from Joe Blogz).
Harvest Dinner @ Somers Firehall
Annual; First Saturday of November
This is our highlight fund-raising event of the year. Each November Somers Fire puts on a Harvest Dinner for the district community, complete with all your favorite Thanksgiving foods. We cook and prepare the turkeys ourselves, on site!
